I am professor at the Department of Biostatistics.
I took my master's degree (cand.stat) in 1978, a ph.d. degree in mathematical statistics in 1982, and a Dr.Med.Sci. (dr.med.) degree in 1997 - all from University of Copenhagen.
My main research interests are survival/event history analysis and analysis of cohort studies and other epidemiological applications of statistics. This may be apparent from my list of publications and brief CV.
The book "Regression with Linear Predictors" with Lene Theil Skovgaard was published in 2010 by Springer Verlag. The web pages for the book with R, SAS (and STATA) code for the examples are found here.
There are two SAS macros available for estimation of the cumulative incidence function based on Cox models for the cause-specific hazards in a competing risks model: CumInc.sas and CumIncV.sas
